For your convenience, we have reserved a block of rooms at discounted rates for the meeting. Suggested check in is Sunday, December 11, with a departure on Wednesday, December 14.

The Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA), approximately 8 miles west of downtown Santa Barbara, is most convenient and is served by express airlines codesharing with the above airlines. For more info, see Flysba.com.
From there, we recommend taking the Eos Transportation shuttle - very convenient and less expensive than taxis ($15-18 one-way versus $32-40 for a taxi). There is usually a shuttle waiting at the airport for deplaning passengers, otherwise there is a courtesy phone in the baggage claim area. Also, it's convenient and a bit less expensive to schedule a round-trip with them. For more info, see Eos Transportation.
Flying into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is about a 2-hour drive southeast of Santa Barbara and is served by most major airlines and rental car companies. As an alternative to renting a car, the Santa Barbara Airbus can take you from LAX to either downtown Santa Barbara or Goleta. They offer discounted rates for round-trips and pre-paid trips. On the northern edge of the greater Los Angeles area, the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport (BUR) is also about 2 hours from Santa Barbara, with airfares usually comparable to LAX fares. See Burbankairport.com for more information.
Santa Barbara is also served by Amtrak, with convenient service from Los Angeles, Burbank Airport, and San Diego. The station is about 1 mile from the hotel.
Santa Barbara weather: In early December nights are cool (5-10 Celsius, 40?50 Fahrenheit) and days are mile (15?20 Celsius, 60?70 Fahrenheit).
