GIS and Spatial Modeling for the Undergraduate Social Science CurriculumJune 18-23, 2006: Columbus, OH Arriving in Columbus:Driving directions to The Ohio State University campus are available On-Campus HousingWorkshop participants have the option of staying in dormitory housing on the Ohio State University campus during the duration of the workshop. For more information about the on-campus housing from Conference Services, including parking information, please see this FAQ site: http://conferenceservices.osu.edu/faqs.asp Each room is air-conditioned with 2 twin beds, a private bathroom, study room with desk, chair and lamp for each resident, telephone, and at least one lounge chair (linens are provided). You have a choice of the following 2 options: private room: $300 (full week) Please note that the full weekly rate of 7 days is more cost-effective than the rate for 6 days. Dorm rooms are currently reserved for June 17-24, for a one-week payment; extra nights are not guaranteed at this point. To reserve an on-campus dormitory room, please e-mail your check-in/check-out dates and your preference for a shared or private room to , the SPACE workshop assistant. If necessary, also indicate the name of a preferred roommate. Please also note that you will need to pay in full as you check in. You can pay by cash, credit card (Visa/Mastercard), or check (made payable to the Ohio State University). On Sunday, June 18, we will start at 8:00am with breakfast in Room 1080 of Derby Hall, located in the OSU Geography Department.
