Accommodations
For your convenience we have reserved a block of rooms with Marriott Residence Inn
Suite: $128 per night double occupancy (approximately $448 + Tax) per person for the week). Features two seperate bedrooms with queen beds, two full baths living space and fully equipped kitchen. Suite accommodations are very private to allow workshop participants to share a room if desired. Residence Inn reservation specialists can assistwith roommate arrangements.
Studio: $84 per night single occupancy (approximately $588 + Tax); features one queen bed, full bath, living space and fully equipped kitchen.
All guests engjoy complimentary wireless high speed internet access, shuttle service to and from campus, evening hospitality hour and breakfast buffet. Laundry and fitness facilities are available on site.

Workshop Class Location/Time
Workshop registration will take place in the Atrium of the Sarkeys Energy Center (SEC - Level 1), OU Norman Campus, on Sunday, July 23rd, between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. The first class will start in the GIS Lab (SEC N106) at 9:00am. On 23 July, the shuttle will depart from Residence Inn to OU campus at 8:10 AM. For the rest of the workshop days, the shuttle will depart at 8:40 AM.

Oklahoma Weather:July in Norman can be very hot and humid with average high temperatures of approximately 94F and lows around 70F. University facilities are well air-conditioned and can become quite chilly so you may like to bring a sweater or jacket. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for the field trip.
