The Residence Inn State College (Marriott) has a block of rooms on hold for CSISS workshop participants for the dates 18-25 May 2003. It is anticipated that most attendees will arrive on Sunday, 18 May and that some may wish to stay through the following Sunday to take advantage of a Saturday-night stay-over.
Workshop participants must make their own reservations for accommodation (the group ID being used by the hotel is CSISS). The room rate is $79.00 per night (plus 8.5% tax). This is a very competitive rate. Participants who wish to stay elsewhere will be responsible for their own local transportation.

The Residence Inn is approximately 1.5 miles south of campus. A University mini-bus will be available to shuttle attendees to and from the campus. While the hotel operates its own shuttle service, their mini-van holds only six to seven passengers.
Rooms at The Residence Inn have fully-equipped kitchens and appliances. The Inn offers a complementary breakfast buffet, grocery shopping service, and a coin-operated guest laundry.
Attendees will receive an information packet on arrival at The Residence Inn. This packet will contain introductions to State College, the University, and Central Pennsylvania, local maps and guides, restaurant listings, and information on places of interest and events.
