The nearest Amtrak station is in either Tyrone, PA or Lewistown, PA both about 30 miles from State College.

Greyhound usually requires a change of bus near Harrisburg if travelling from the East or Pittsburgh if travelling from the West.

State College is a 3-4 hour drive from Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington DC, Baltimore and Buffalo and a 4-5 hour drive from NYC.

Accommodations

A block of rooms is in place for for accommodation for workshop presenters, participants, and invited gests at The Courtyard Marriott in State College. Details on this and alternative accommodations will be provided for thos attending the workshop. This hotel provides free Internet, meeting rooms, a shuttle bus to the PSU campus and a host of other amenities.
